\nLanger’s Delicatessen-Restaurant was proud to host the “Pastrami Panel” discussion with Norm Langer, Matt Giamela of RC Provision, and Pulitzer Prize-winning food columnist Jonathan Gold as part of the Los Angeles Times’ 2017 Food Bowl event.<\/p>\n
The wide-ranging discussion covered everything pastrami, with Jonathan interviewing both Norm and Matt on all areas of pastrami history, production and much more. Audience members in attendance questioned the panel and a great time was had by all.<\/p>\n
Langer’s Deli would like to thank Angus Dillion and Asha Xavier of the Los Angeles Times, who served as terrific event planners and partners in this process.<\/p>\n
Our biggest thanks go to the one and only Jonathan Gold, who for 30 years or more has championed Langer’s Deli as his favorite pastrami in the world – often the only voice in the food scene talking about us. We are eternally grateful for his kind words and support across decades, and it was a true honor to have this event here in our deli with him.<\/p>\n
